Fat Tire's unique flavor profile originates from 1930s Belgium. During this era, small breweries began offering easy-drinking beer crafted with signature Belgian yeast in order to satisfy the tastes of visiting British soldiers. Today, Fat Tire blends a subtle malt presence with a slightly fruity hop profile and crisp finish, to create a bright and balanced beer that drinks easy, anywhere.

12 ounce bottle, enjoy by 11JUN23 stamped on the label. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a mostly clear gold color with about an inch or so off-white head that stayed around a while. Good amount of lacing. Not much to the aroma, the brew smells mostly like grainy malt along with some light grassy and citrusy hops. Taste has a little more kick, but with the addition of some honey. It's a sweeter tasting brew, at least in the finish anyway. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's smooth and easy enough to drink. Not bad by any means, but this really doesn't do anything for me. Glad I just got a single of this, prefer the original version compared to this one but I wouldn't turn one down if given to me either.

On draught, a light amber pour.
A decent off the white head settles thin and leaves some curtain lacing.
The nose fairy neutral.
Lightly toasted malt, very light caramel flavor and mild hops and a crisp finish.
A fairly decent beer, better than what some of the national breweries produce, but not quite as good as it was when I first tasted it (pre BA) IMO.
It has been cheapened to the point that it is almost irrelevant now. What a shame.

This beer is a hazy light gold that is on the verge of being transparent. When I poured it had a very big head of foam that was about a half inch thick. The smell is malty and I pick up very little fruit and very little hops. Now drinking it I noticed hardly any hint of fruit and it was a little bitter but not bad. It was not that hoppy. This beer reminded me more of a very bland lager than an ale. It’s not an awful beer but is no where close to even being a good beer. I’d rate it 6/10!

I had the original version way back when and it was nothing special. The current iteration is anonymous, bland, and I can't imagine anyone reaching for a second one if there was anything else available.

No idea why they changed this beer. It’s awful now.

Dark gold pour, scant head. Nose is malty.

Taste is caramelized grain, light floral, touch if dried fruit. Light mouthfeel. Finish is malty and a bit on the sweet side.

Either this beer has changed or my taste buds have. I remember trying this on tap around 2009ish and remember how damn good it was. I almost travels two states to buy a lot of it. Now I got a six pack at a local store and no where near as good as I remember. Not a bad beer but not over whelming. Maybe it was better before dunno

From a 12oz bottle dated "Enjoy by" 20JUL25" with what seems to be a 25022....date code

Pours a translucent light copper color with maybe a half finger of white head. Lacing and retention are pretty poor.

Light bready and floral notes on the nose.

Taste is corn, bread and maybe a touch of grass.

Medium to high carbonation. Light-bodied. Light bitter aftertaste.

I mean, I wasn't expecting much and this beer met expectations.
