Served to me in a nonic last night at the brewpub.
Appearance: Big, rocky, loose, off-white head sits on top of a cloudy caramel colored body. Head retention is not that great. Thin, crystalline lacing all the way down. Looks great just after the pour, but average looking afterward.
Smell: Herbal hops, caramel, pine, citrus, and maybe some butter. Light spiciness and alcohol. Pretty standard, but good.
Taste: Caramel, herbal hops, spices, and bready yeast. Pretty good balance, but still has a hefty dose of bitterness. Hides alcohol well to boot.
Mouthfeel: Nicely carbonated - glides right along the palate. Somewhat creamy, medium bodied, and most definitely smooth.
Drinkability: This is a nice IPA. Nothing to write home about, but I could easily see this as one of my go-to beers at Creekside. I'm liking this place more and more each time I go in. Keep up the good work Eric!

Poured from growler a deep yellow/orange color with a small white head. It was very thick and murky, perhaps more so than the draft pour.. The body of this beer looked intense. Nose was hops, malt, floral and bitterness. It had a toastiness taste, slight bitterness and floral taste. Maltier than mostWest Coast IPAs these days. Mouthfeel is nice and coating. Solid beer and worth a try.
