Poured a deep brown with good carbonation and a small tannish head. Nose is smoke, some chocolate and roastiness. Taste is very smooth for a smoked beer, smoked grains, some possible toffee, coffee, and chocolate undertones. Mouthfeel is nice, very drinkable since it was not a HUGE smoked beer which usually turns me off, you're expecting a big roasted piece of ham this beer is not it.
