Note: A blend of old and young beer. Brewed with breattanomyces and aged on oak barrel.
Dark brown with a small beige head that leaves some lacings.
The aroma is a bit edgy and strange. Notes of wood, roasted malts and smoke together with a light fruitiness, chocolate, funky blanket (brett) and something reminiscent of yogurt .
The taste is much better. Lightly sweet with a complementary lactic tartness. Notes of smooth roasted malts, chocolate, stale bread, tart fruit caramels and wood. The finish is dry and lactic with notes of smoke and licorice. A subtle flare of bitter hops as well.
Moderate body, easy on the palate with quite a lot of carbonation.
Definitely something else, but I liked it. Interesting cellar object (might turn out horrible though).
