I enjoyed the Springbrook Honey Heather Ale at Limestone....it wasnt like AMAZING or anything....but it was a solid beer. The appearance was a nice amber with white head that laced. The smell included some honey/sweetness and floral notes. The taste was not as sweet as I expected nor did it have a whole lot of flowerery taste. It was just a good ale that had some sweetness and moejoe from the heather tips. The mouthfeel was good....certainly could session. Overall a unique beer that tasted good.

From Limestone's website:
6.56% ABV 0 IBU's 1.062 OG
That's right, the IBU's are at ground zero. Dried heather tips and 200lbs of locally harvested honey, from a Naperville beekeeper.where used for this beer. Heather has been used for centuries as an herbal supplement to the body. This refreshing ale has a smooth, rich body with a slightly sweet, malty aroma and taste. It is a great session beer and is sure to please a variety of tastes!
Poured from a growler into a New Holland pint glass.
Pours a hazy copper with two fingers of tan spritzy head. The head did not last, but left a whisp of foam on top.
Aromas of flowers, sweet malt and honey. A tad herbal/medicinal, but not off putting.
First sip is malty, with hints of an herbal/medicinal flavor and honey sweetness.
Mouthfeel is medium, but not sticky sweet. Doesn't come across as a filling beer. A little spritzy like club soda.
Very drinkable beer. I'll agree with the website description, this would make a good session beer. Overall nice beer, and I don't particularly miss the hops.
