Served in a shaker pint glass at the brewpub.

My Limestone experience continues... This offering pours a slightly hazy light amber topped by a finger of off-white micro-foam. The nose comprises light caramel, pine, and a blend of just about every citrus fruit i can think of (that must've been one huge blender, let me tell you...). The taste holds notes of pine, red peppers, cedar, cilantro, dark greens, and light toffee. The body is a light medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry finish. Overall, a very solid pale ale, one that doesn't go too far on either the hoppy or malty side.

From the Limestone website, 4% of the base malt is toasted in the brewery's ovens.

Poured from a growler into a pint glass.

Appearance is ruby with a wisp of tan head on the surface.

Aromas of citrus, red grapefruit, and a faint lightly toasted malt background.

Taste is of red grapefruit. Restrained use of hops in the flavor and aroma additions. The flavor is there, but not in your face. Some biscuity malt in the backbone provides a nice balance, albeit hop forward, as it should be.

Mouthfeel is thin but not watery. No carbonic bite to speak of.

Drinkability is very good. This makes a great session beer. You can drink several and not get palate fatigue from the hops/bitterness or a full feeling.
