Picked up a growler today. Poured into a New Holland Pint glass. Pours a almost clear golden, with a nice, two fingered white head. Head slowly drops leaving a nice wisp of foam. Not much lacing.
Aromas of wheat, coriander and bitter orange peel.
Flavors of wheat, coriander and bitter orange. Nice level of spicing, subtle, not aggressive or overly spiced. Good carbonic bite. Finish is medium, with spice dominating.
Mouthfeel is medium and creamy. Good level of carbonation.
Light and refreshing, a good summer time brew. Although clearer than most wits, the lack of cloudiness does not detract from the overall enjoyment of this beer, nothing is missing or over the top.

A: semi-cloudy, deep yellow/straw body, finger head, bubbly, patchy lacing
S: banana, wheat, clove, light spices
T: sweet banana and clove up front, nice wheat middle, light crisp spicy finish
M: med/light body, solid carbonation, semi-dry mouth
O: Pleasantly surprised, great to have another local
summer option. I love wheat beers and this is
a good one to pick for newbie or timid date.
NICE, WORTH HAVING!

Served in a flared pokal.
So many wits out when Summer comes, eh? This one pours a cloudy pale straw topped by a finger of white foam. The nose comprises lemon zest, orange peel, coriander, wheat, and some light clove hanging around in the background. The taste holds notes of lemon zest, cardamom, wheat, clove, banana, and orange rind. Things come off decidedly bitter on the tongue, though the slight spiciness helps to cut this a bit. The body is fairly light, with a light moderate carbonation and a dry-ish finish. Overall, a nice li'l wit, nothing really all that special, but an enjoyable Summer brew nonetheless.
