On tap at the brewery, served in a mug
The beer pours a clear straw color with a large foamy white head that recedes slowly leaving behind a moderate amount of lacing
The nose is slightly biscuity with a nice big hop aroma. Notes of citrus and bready malt make this beer very inviting.
The beer is very refreshing, clean, and crisp. Like the nose, the flavor is biscuity and citrusy. More robust than its lower ABV counterpart (Captain Jack), but just as refreshing.
This is a very nice beer, and deceptively easy to drink for the higher ABV.
