Served from tap into a Black & Blue III shaker. Poured a massively dark brown with a half finger khaki colored head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, roasted malt, bread, coffee, espresso, and vanilla. The flavor was of sweet malt, roasted malt, coffee, espresso, biscotti, and vanilla. It had a medium feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a pretty good brew. This brew was definitely up there on my list of good surprise brews I had that evening as it was quite enjoyable. The flavor profile on this one was fairly complex with the vanilla beans rounding it out on the followthrough to keep your palate feeling crisp after each sip. The aroma was also very nice as it brought everything to you at once but didn't overwhelm your senses. A really well done brew that I hope they brew again. Tick.
