Served on draft in a pint glass.
A: Light brown/slight red tint, hazy with a slight amount of head. Lacing as the beer drains.
S: first note is a banana-like fruity aroma, followed by spice and notably clove. A slight amount of bread/malt but the clove dominates.
T: very well balanced between banana/clove, maybe slightly more toward the clove (caution that this is my preference). The banana flavor is just subtle enough, not overpowering like I've had in some weissbiers. slight amount of bread flavor; a little more would have given this a 4.5 score on the flavor.
M: body is about what would be expected, a medium feel. Carbonation ok but a little more for this style would have bumped up.
D: Overall a very drinkable beer. Paired very well with the seafood dish I had, did not overpower the fish but complemented the spices in the dish very well.
