This is a simple, straightforward golden ale. The hopping is refined and is balanced nicely with some crackery malt. Really well done

A: a clear yellow into an american shaker pint glass with a finger of white head that dissipates quickly and leaves spotted lacing.
S: some pale and caramel malts. That's about it.
T: the same malts as in the nose. Sweet.
MF: there is a nice effervescence and I medium body to this beer. Crisp smooth and refreshing.
D: I would buy another growler of this but wouldn't pass up a new seasonal.

Clear gold in the glass with light carbonation evident and a soft foam ring on top. Not much in the nose but some clean malt. Taste is initially sweet, buttery malt with a hint of hops bitterness to balance. No complexity, but that may be the point here. A definite Kölsch-like offering, light bodied, simple, refreshing and great for washing down Johansson's Bison Burger (gotta love buffalo meat). A nice change of pace from the more complex or hoppy beers, and an excellent "starter" micro for your macro-drinking friends. Good stuff, however.
