On cask at Blind Lady Alehouse and served in a stange. On to the beer:
This a dark ruby brown beer with big, creamy head which seems to retain forever. Its aroma is mild, bringing light nutty notes and even whispers of phenol. This beer isn't going to smackdown your palate, as its flavor is mild at best. Besides being nutty and somewhat sweet, the beer has a "yeasty" flavor which I couldn't put my finger on, and some tannins leftover. It's a medium bodied beer, which despite being creamy, is easy to drink. Too bad the beer is a whisker better than mediocrity.
