Aroma is pleasantly musty and mushroomy. Pale lemony color in the tall nonic. Darkly woody and winey quaff with a disturbing long bitter aftertaste. Seems like some kind of English Brown Ale with a bad hop attack. Tastes of sourish, bitter leaf mold, something dark and earthy and utterly not like any Pale Ale ever. Dark and dreadful.
This seems to be well made, but I find it undrinkable. My least favorite Automatic beer yet. On tap at Tiger Tiger.
