Served unfiltered and at room temperature in a pint glass. Hazy beer that looked more like a Weizen than a Pilsner. I smelled plenty of malt but also a very fruity yeast.
It tasted very young to me but still had good malt characteristics, could've used more of a hops presence.
The body was fine but the drinkability wasn't there for me. I don't regret ordering it, but I probably wouldn't order it again.

A short head of bright white foam rests atop a slightly hazy straw-gold body. The retention is good, and the head holds surprisingly well before dissipating to a standard collar - leaving some nice lace as it goes! The nose offers a sweet and buttery, diacetyl-laced, grainy malt that's accentuated by some grassy hops. It's medium body is crisp in the mouth due to its fine, median carbonation. The flavor delivers all that the aroma suggests with a buttery, grainy malt that's accentuated by lightly floral and grassy hops; and balanced by solid bitterness. It finishes with a note of sweet malt that quickly receeds to reveal it's dry bitterness.
The diacetyl seems out of place considering the quality of their other beers, and I'm guessing that this is just a problem within the one batch. I'll stop down in a month or so to re-review it.
