Another style I love to see are Scottish Ales. So after finishing my Dunkel I had enough time to read the beer menu and so an Ambush was in order. It poured a nice clear orangish amber with a good rocky white head. The Aroma was a bold blast of scottish malt. The taste hit home with a big malt rush, with just a hint of hops to clean up in the end. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and extremely smooth. This was another fine beer to find within easy distance of the house. I will probably have to rush over as this has been on tap for a while with the promise it will be there until it runs out.
