A - A nice dark brown and boarding on black...a 2 finger tan head that has nice retention...the head slowly falls and is able to stay during the entire glass...some sticky lacing
S - Didn't get much from the nose but it was a nice smell of chocolate, fruit, and toasted oats
T - These flavors come together nicely...but fall short somewhere along the line...there is a nice roasted malt presence upfront that flows into the toasted oats...one doesn't stand out over the other so it's a nice battle...a subtle coffee flavor bounces around the palate...and a great chocolate flavor ends and leaves a roasted bittersweetness lingering
M - Medium bodied...a little on the lighter side and boarding being watery...creamy
D - I had this as my dessert beer and that's what I wanted it for...it left a nice aftertaste on the palate and I could have had two of these for dessert
