Poured from (11.3-ounce?) bottle into a champagne flute. Rather dull dark orange colored body, with a voluminous white head. This was a random bottle I found at the local packie. It looked interesting so I grabbed it, having no idea how old it was. Impressions of this sample: malt forward on the nose and palate, with a subdued fruity character. Good carbonation. Medium bodied, slightly sticky on the finish with a lingering bitter off-flavor. This probably indicates that it did not age well. That said, I will not hesitate to revisit this should I run across it again. It sounds so interesting that I really want to like it.

Yuzu Imperial Saison.
Greenish yellow appearance. Quite scarce foam, but, well, it's 10.5 ABV.
Fresh and citrus smell (yuzu e bergamotto).
The bergamotto is strong. The yuzu boh... Never tasted,
Fresh taste, again citric, bergammotto, fresh and aromatic notes.
Under that, malty and ceral notes, wheat, perhaps.
The alcohol is totally well hidden.
Good, fresh, inviting and interesting.
