Bottle at Pérez & Beers, served in a trappist glass.
Brown colour, small head with short retention, thin lacking.
Aroma of caramel, molasses, liquor, malts, dark fruits.
Medium body, siticky texture, average carbonation. Sweet finish.
Taste follows the aroma.
A textbook barley wine.

Served in a goblet from the bottle.
Appearance: Mahogany colored brew with a dark tan head which rose maybe half a fingers length off the body.
Smell: light molasses Roma which dissipates quickly into the nose.
Taste: Complex semi sweet toffee and semi sweet malt.
Mouth: very sticky body with notes of honey in the finish.
Overall: definitely a must grab, complex brew which attaches itself to you like white on rice. Worth grabbing if you're ever so lucky. Salud!
