On cask at Nerax North
Pours a deep amber color with a small bubbly white head. Smells of bready and toffee back up with earthy hops. Taste follow the aroma fairly well. Medium to thin body with a light level of carbonation and a slick mouthfeel. I really expected something called Autumn Valley flower to be a bit more interesting maybe even floral. Drinkable, but frankly unremarkable.

Pint at JDW. Served in a shaker. Dark redish copper colour, clear. Very small head. Strong flower aroma, some hops come through at the end. Tasted lots of roasted malts and flowers. Lots of bitterness, possibly too bitter. Normal mouthfull, went down ok. A beer that is slightly too strong and not drinkable enough to be a session beer but lacking the character of certain premium bitters.

At the General Sutter's cask festival. My last of the day (and first to be reviewed).
A: The bitter is dark, relatively speaking. The darkest of my flight with a golden-brown mishmash of color. Still clear though (relative the key term). A nominal head.
S: The nose is biscuity, pale malts darkened by just a bit of chocolate. Hops are light, earthy. Noticeably bready, perhaps the breadiest of the bunch.
T: Plenty malty with a distinct best bitter chewiness. Mineral flavors follow. Hops come through as earthy a bitterness that gradually builds to a dry finish. Toffee is evident, again the maltiest of the offerings.
M: This one is earning the most accolades: maltiest, most balanced, most drinkable. A very interesting bitter to run across in central PA.
