So what's going on
Christmas beers that are dark bitters with low alcohol content rather than old ales mixed with spices and rocket fuel?
Poured into a dimpled handled pint pot, dark dark brown body thin wispy tan head.
Aroma of roasted peanuts, brown sugar and malt.
A bit of a brown ale taste mild roasts sugar mainstay followed by a mellow hop taste with slight hints of Christmas spice.
Slightly too lively on the carbonation but a good mouthfeel result in a fairly decent beer best bought a couple of weeks after Christmas when its half price lol.
