Had it on-tap at Elmer Sudds earlier this week. The brewery's description makes no mention of what style it is, so I went by what was in front of me. Cloudy, hazy, light golden color with a nice head. Aroma of banana, lemon, and yeast. Taste was the same. My conclusion - a decent hefeweizen, so I was surprised to come here and find it classified as an American Blonde Ale.

On tap at Elmer-Sudds at their debut. When I first arrived I understood that there were some carbonation issues with this brew - ie, the first sixtel was flat (edit, I'm told that the issues were with the tap line rather than the beer itself). When they tapped the second sixtel there were no such issues, so I took a go. It was a cloudly, light golden color with a good head and decent retention. Smelled of lemon zest and a bit of wheat; clean but light. Taste was likewise, a nice lemon and wheat flavor, quite smooth and balanced. Also a bit of grass. Pretty light mouthfeel but appropriately carbonated. This was very solid I thought; an easy drinking, sessionable summer brew.

On tap at Elmer Sudds during their NEPA draft debut. Served in a shaker "pint" glass. Appears a cloudy muted golden yellow color with a finger of off white foam. No lacing to speak of. Smells and tastes of banana, clove, lemon, spicy, peppery yeast, and a touch sour. Very light carbonation and a rather thin body. This ale has a crisp clean finish. I'll return to update my review as the recipe is tweaked.
