Poured from a 33cl bottle into a 20oz imperial pint. Thanks to Heidi and Tom Morris for bringing this back from England for me!
From the bottle: "Hop variety is to beer what grape variety is to wine: it lies at the heart of its flavour. GOOD DOG ALE uses Liberty hops and our own Suffolk malting barley, to create a fresh, low-fizz beer that is great with food. For maximum pleasure serve chilled in a nice wine glass."

A: Pours a surprisingly rich-looking, golden-amber color with a bright-white, one-finger of foam. Head retention, sadly, is minimal at best; resulting in no skim or lace. Very lazy carbonation (low-fizz!).
S: Perfumy aroma of fruity hops, caramel, and toasted cereal grains. Aromas of green grape, fresh red apple, and pie crust as well.
T: Caramel, apples, and toasted grain compete for attention. Filling this out are flavors of white grape, fresh orchard fruit, and perfumy hops.
M: Toasty and dry with a surprising oily slickness that coats during the middle and brings on a slightly sweet yet peppery finish.
D: Very good drinkability. A likeable session ale that wont change the world but is nice to spend an afternoon with.
