it was served pretty cold for being in the UK, probably has something to do with the brewer being american. Anyway i waited a bit for the brew to warm , it smells a bit of buttered popcorn, and barbecue ribs really nice. looks like a amber premium pale ale a nice ginger color. not much head. tastes like dark wheat bread with a sharp hops flavor, tastes better as it warms. hints of dark fruit currant, but predominantly a bitter hops one.
and a nice corn bread after taste, a satisfying low alcohol beer. a quality session beer from a quality micro brew . very drinkable and hits the spot.

Doing my Rolf Harris impression here, can you guess what colour it was? Quite right, it was amber, with a loose white head that threatened to disappear but then clung around doggedly. Described as a premium pale ale, it was certainly very refershing and nicely hoppy and with a long bitter finish which was just a delight. With the merest hint of sweetness in the background, and a light carbonation, I could happily drink this beer all day long, and at 3.4%ABV would drink many!
