Appearance: Dark brown with a vanilla/off white head. The head was more abundant than I expected for the cask ale, and stayed around nicely.
Aroma: Caramel malts with a nice toasty and biscuity background. Dirty hops come out too and make it more interesting.
Taste: Much the same as the aroma, with a nice toasted caramel front combined with a good deal of dirty hop flavor. It was nicely done with the flavors combining well and remaining interesting.
Mouthfeel: A little slick and heavy for my tastes, but still well done. It's not sweet enough to be cloying, and there's no sign of a 6.5% alcohol... I would have expected more like 4.5-5%.
Drinkability: I could session this, but it might have gotten old after a couple pints. It's definitely a nice beer to sit back with and enjoy without doing a lot of thinking.

From cask poured into pint glass.
A - Poured black non-transparent color with medium head that leaves slight lacing around the glass.
S - Roasted malts and mostly nutty.
T - Very impressing with low carbonation and slight coolness due to cask. Sweet and slightly bitter that doesnt last long at all. Very nutty.
M - Full bodied with low carbonation.
D - Very good, abv is not felt at all and with low carbonation could be consumed in higher amounts.
