One of my favorites from MBC, unfortunately it's only available for about a month each year. Pours a deep opaque black with brown highlights and a beautiful brown head that lasts. Nose is lots of roasted malts, some sweet alcohol, and an earthy spiciness. Taste is roasted malts and then a decent dose of bitter hops. Nice balance, and no alcohol taste at all. There's some sweetness to it as well. Mouthfeel is a little undercarbonated but still good. Drinkability is pretty high on this. Overall a very nice brew, if you happen to go to MBC in November this is the beer to get.
