First off I was pretty stoked to see this one tap. Hasn't been brewed since 2002 for the time Umphrey's McGee played at the Mishawaka Brew Co.
A- Pours a dull golden copper color. Half finger white head shows low retention leaving a nice collar on the beer itself. Light spotty lacing on the sides of the glass.
S- Nice big citrus hints on the front of the nose. More lemon and light grapefruit forward. Some almost pale malts in the background give a little balance to the aroma but not much.
T- Light bitter hops clash with some even lighter pale malts in the front. Middle of the beer is not really there no matter how much I try to figure it out. Ending is a interesting mix of burnt plastic, pale malts, and light bitter hops.
M- Medium mouthfeel. Carbonation is a little lacking in this beer but doesn't cause a problem because of that. Bitter hops are left on the palate which was a nice surprise. Aftertaste is mostly light alcohol, bitter hops, and a large dose of that plastic taste. This beer was balanced for the most part to the style. The plastic flavor was a off flavor that stuck around the back end of the beer in big flavor. Medium alcohol drying on the palate.
D- This beer was drinkable and in fact I had a couple pints of it. It was more or less so I could put my finger on the plastic flavor but it grew on me. Not my first beer of choice but nice to try this beer out of their older portfolio.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
