Stopped in on opening night to meet a friend who lives directly across the street.
Nice looking place both inside and out as chains go. The welcome at the reception and service overall was very good. Lots of employees and managers present everywhere which may be a byproduct of it being opening night.
Four beers on tap - Light Lager, IPA, Bock, and Stout. 20oz pints for $5. I had the IPA, a free Bock which I sampled and passed on to my friend, and the stout. The IPA and stout were equivalent to some of the kit homebrews I made when I began brewing. Good beers with nothing that would intimidate the average consumer. They all had noticeable characteristics for their style but nothing beyond that.
The food was good bar food. We split the waffle fry nachos and I had a bbq chicken flatbread pizza that was a bit too much on the flatbread side for me.
Seems to be a very family friendly place. My friend had his 8 month old daughter and three year old son. When your distracted by kids, average beer and food is not such a bad thing.
