Genova 23/7 2024. 33 cl bottle from Gulliver, Via Nazionale, Sestri Levante. Light yellow-ish label with a couple of Lions Brewing beer and all kinds of ingredients for beer-making.
Pours opaque murky, amber with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as paper-thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sweet lemonade and light tart notes. Wheat malts, lemon and Elderflower. White sugar. Oranges.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers for a bit. Finish is a tad sugary.
Sweetish Hefeweizen.

Relatively dark orange, beautiful white foam.
The smell is right to the style, good bread crust, light spiciness, a bit too much of honey.
Decent taste, too, a sweet maltiness, maybe a bit too much but not overwhelming.
Wheat present, in te smell too.
After all, a decent weiss, average body, a bit too much malt in the aftertaste.
