The beer is clouded dark amber with a tan head leaving little lacing but has good curtains.
The smell is from sweet dried fruits, dates, som yeast, champagne like tones.
The taste is sweet, brown sugar, brown bread, dark dried fruits, toffee, butter scotch, a nuance of sweet licorice.
Medium carbonation, a huge body, a smooth and oily feeling. Very little dryness.
A real treat, for dessert or after dinner. This was the 2009 vintage.
