A: Dark amber with no head, little carbonation, filtered with no cloudiness.
S: Caramel, slight metallic, slight pine, slight white grapefruit pith. I think I’m getting Sorachi Ace hops. There’s a slight orange, orange peel citrus quality. Its sweet on the nose.
T: Light sweetness, the citrus orange and orange peel are coming through. Caramel, and again there are reminders of Sorachi Ace, but its really lightly hopped for an American IPA. Caramel, medium toasted notes, very little bitterness. There’s a slight tingling sensation on the tongue reminiscent of orange oil.
M: Medium slightly syrupy body, little carbonation.
O: Well done for a Chinese beer. Perhaps appropriately named as its not got the full power of an IPA. It was given to me by my friend, the owner of a pub downstairs.

A few months old short notes and ratings. Mostly concerning the taste.
"Not a lot of frutiness, slightly citrusy, some low dark fruit. Mostly nicely toasted maltiness, with some caramel and hints of roasted coffee; Hints of licorice, honey, dark chocolate; Earthy yeasts;
The hops are herbal, somewhat floral too, but not as strong as they should be in an IPA (especially American); The same with the bitterness, coming mostly from the roast;
Certainly a "Baby" in the IPAs (supposedly this is the first bottled attempt from the brewery), but this is not a bad craft beer; Sure, pretty mixed up and random, but better than most of what Beijing has to offer, and cheaper than imported beer."
