Had one of these after having nothing to drink for an hour or so in the sun at the PA Ren Fair. Nicely balanced, crisp, and refreshing with mild malt flavor, good hop aroma, hop flavor, and medium bitterness with lingering bitter aftertaste. They are calling it a "west coast style" IPA, and it is a good version.

Plank Walker's Pale Ale
This beer is available the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
A coppery colored English Ale. A bit of a strong hop character, on the palate. Smooth, crisp and refreshing. Definitely a sessionable beer. They are working on getting a bottling operation started but at the moment it is available at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. I have already gotten season tickets to the Faire for their beers, they are excellent! I will be re-reviewing these beers as soon as the 2006 season opens. I highly recommend stopping in to check it out. There are other special events on the Faire Grounds. Call or go to the website to find out when they are open.
Hope this is helpful.
Cheers!
