On draft at the PA Renaissance Faire...
Appears a dark brown with light chestnut edges and a foamy tan head that slowly fades out. There is a ton of lacing left all over the glass.
Smell is of roasted nuts, cinnamon, nutmeg, anise, lavender, clove, malty grain, and mild cocoa. Perhaps a touch of juniper, as well.
Taste is of the mentioned, sugary, spicy aromas that seems to be a change of pace from the other selections offered at Swashbuckler.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, spritzy, along with hints the varied spices bouncing along the palate.
This mix won my wife over.
