Got this interesting beer from TroyG2352. Love the opportunity to try this as well. Poured 22 oz bottle into Jackie O's snifter.
A- Pours dark brown, hints of ruby around the edges where the light hits. Thin, creamy off white head, sticks mostly to the edges of the glass.
S- Very subtle aromas coming from the nose. Get some clove, mixed with plum, banana, slight roasted aroma hidden towards the back.
T- Wasn't expecting this when I opened the bottle. Very interesting flavors. Starts a little tart, but instead of continuing, moves quickly into a good mix of flavors. Picked out some plum and citrusy fruit. As the beer warms the tartness lingers. Not sure if it's supposed to have that kind of flavor or not though.
M- Medium body, lots of carbonation.
O- I've never had this style before, so wasn't sure what to expect. Had a good amount of tartness, which still not sure if it's supposed to or not. Very interesting beer, nothing like I've had before that's for sure. Thanks Troy for the beer!

One of the rare bottled versions of this brewery's beer.
Pours a deep brownish with a small, fuzzy head. The aroma is toasty and wheaty, with a gently roasted nut character and a layer of brown sugar. The flavor is quite wheaty in nature, with a phenolic, toasted edge, with some pineapple, plum, apricot and brown sugar. There is a sweet, sugary finish. The mouthfeel is rich and creamy.
