Pretty bad considering the best by date is 10-10-02 clearly past the date the appearance is a nice amber lager forms with a nice off white head leaves behind minimal lacing not too bad. Aroma: Badly turned hop aroma this one doesn't survive the aging process however the taste wasn't that bad sturdy caramel malts stood up against a bit of an astringent hop profile not the worst but well past it's age finishes clean still somehow. Mouthfeel: Medium to light in body higher carbonation similar to many lagers I know. Drinkability: Not bad especially when compared most lagers I have tasted strong effervescent honey hop profile would keep most entertained however there's nothing calling me back for more and more.

This is something of a gimmick-beer, with a picture of a tank on the label, surrounded by purple and green camouflage. It’s the first beer that I’ve ever had that is brewed from this part of the world (Israel). Pours a dark amber color with a very shallow-disappearing head. Smells like a well hopped German lager. Actually, it’s a clean, crisp, somewhat grainy beer. A bit of caramel and malt in the foretaste, but it's fleeting. Somewhat nondescript and average from there. Not outstanding, but fun (for the gimmick) nonetheless.

Tank Beer: “dirty blonde lager” from Israel. From their web site : “Tank Beer is a two fisted blast of bodaciousness -- a smooth, easy drinking, full-bodied amber robust brew with notes of caramel, coffee, chocolate and toasted oats.” The marketing seems over the top, but the beer was actually pretty good. To be honest, it had a crisp malty taste, with some bite to it. It was exceptionally easy to drink. I’d definitely pick up another six pack of this unusual beer.
