Very refreshing sour after 10km of cross-country skiing. Briefly made me feel like I was in Belgium. Sour-sweet balance was perfect. The real raspberry taste is evident because the brewer notes that it uses raspberry purée, rather than cheating it with a chemical adjunct. This beer was made by McAuslan's Nano Brasserie (picture of the tap room on the bottle), which is attached to the larger microbrewery which services dépanneurs and grocery stores all over Quebec. Picked this bottle up at the excellently stocked Dépanneur in Morin Heights, Marché Vaillancourt. I challenge the brewer to reproduce this beer at a lower ABV like 3%.
