On tap at Inland Empire Brewing Company in Riverside, CA.

Pours a clear orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and some subdued citrus fruit and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with a citrus zest flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer that is tasty and easy to drink.

Had on tap at the tasting room.

typical IPA in fashion, with decent hop aroma and flavor.
Mildly citrusy, overall not too strong in flavor but tastes quite clean, balanced. I enjoyed it. These guys are putting out some really good beer as of lately, and I am glad i checked them out.

1 liter flip top 'Growler' acquired in trade with Hophead22 (thanks!).

Poured a medium amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of floral hops, grains, citrus, and there's something there I just couldn't put my finger on. LIttle spicey too. Tastes of citrus, some caramel, and the same floralness.

On tap at the brewery, reviewed from notes.

A - Pours a pale copper, two shades from straw. Lighter than the Pale Ale, oddly. Thick white head leaves sheets of lacing behind.

S - Mostly bright fruits, apricot & mango. some toasted grain. A bit of grass in the back. Where are the hops?

T - More tropical fruitiness. Some herb and grass lost in the back end.

M - Almost as light as the Blonde. Carbonation is super tight. Very bright & quick finish.

D - High, for a pale ale.

The website describes this as their "hop monster", which is interesting, considering I had to try really hard to find the hops at all. if this were labeled a pale ale, I'd have gone with it. But an IPA? I think not.

Sampled at the brewery in Riverside on Saturday, reviewed from notes on my phone, drank this before the pale ale

A-Golden yellow color with some darker tones, big 1 1/2 inch foamy white head, some retention and lacing
S-Light hoppiness, bread, grassy accents, yeasty characteristics, grains, grapefruit, and light caramel
T-Starts off with taosted malts that are neutral, more malt in the middle but some sweeter ones, very light hops in the finish that are barely noticable, does not change much as it warms and stays pretty boring as far as flavor goes, not the hop bomb I expected and I was shocked on how little hoppiness there was in this
M-Toasty, sweet, barely dry, and slightly chewy, medium bodied, fair amount of carbonation, taste does not last long at all
D-Could drink a few, light on the stomach, not much flavor and watery at times, some alcohol in the taste once it fully warms, not very drinkable

This was the beer I was looking forward to most from this new brewery and it was the most disappointing, tasted very similar to two of their other beers with light hops added, would not drink again, not recommended either
