Another curiosity pick from the local Russian import market.

Pours a clear gold with light foaming. The aroma has some of that earthy hop character on it. Crisp and effervescent. You could do worse.

Pours a crystal clear gold color. Mildly effervescent feeding a thin white head that collapses quickly leaving not much residual head other than a ring of foam along the outside of the beer.

Aroma has notes of barley, a touch of honey sweetness, and some light grassy hops.

Taste follows the nose with barley malts up front, a touch of sweet bready malts with some grassy hops on the back end. a hint of a nutty malt flavor comes through as the beer warms. Mild but pleasantly balanced bitterness on the back end.

Very easy drinking - you could knock a bunch of these back. Bright carbonation. Semi-dry finish.

Overall this is a really nice lager. At the price point, its a steal and one Ill happily snag again if it stays on shelves.

The pour is a pale yellow color with full clarity and a white head of bubbles. The nose is subtle with malt. A clean and crisp start to the drinking. Light and flowing with malt and a touch of sweetness on the finish. Very clean and smooth flowing with a subtle touch of spicy hops on the finish. A light mouthfeel that doesn’t fall to watery.

Overall, nothing bad or great here. Just a pretty easy drinking macro lager.

Pours clear, gold in color with one inch head. Taste is cereal and grain. Medium bodied and carbonation, crisp and bitter. Makes for an excellent beer after a good day hike.

Big scary bison on the front...

Looking very angry.

This is not brewed by Tyskie I do not think, according to the bottle.

Natural and unpasteurized according to the bottle. Head has that airy bubbleness a bit like a Belgian beer, though not much of it. A very typical lagerish colour.

Sweet malty aroma with bitterness.

Pretty good actually. Lots of depth and elements to the flavor. The hops and sweet maltiness complement each other perfectly.

At room temperature this could almost pass as an English bitter, if you ignored the colour. It has a very manly taste, definitely puts hairs on your chest, hopefully not so many that I look like the bison. Will be buying more of this. However, because it is so well balanced, nothing stands out. If it had a bit more hops and was more bitter, then it would. However, great effort.

Why is the bison so angry? He should drink some

From a pint can, poured translucent golden yellow with finger width of head which dissipated to a thin skiff of foam on top. Not too much in the smell. Taste was crisp, refreshing, trace of hops and maybe lemon. Glass was left with thin lacing. The taste was like a Zyviec to me, which wasn't too bad because I like Zyviec. Would drink again.
