Copenhagen 4/8 2019. 50 cl can from Biedronka near the harbor in Świnoujście. Off-white, cream colored can with a very big red and golden crown on it and something in Polish about many generations producing Pale Lagers.
Pours clear yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam barely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, sweetish and malty. Sweet pale malts, grains, bread, caramel, sugar.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and quite thin. Lingers shortly.
Not that different from the usual Tyskie Pale Lager. A bit sweeter perhaps.

Pours clear, gold in color with one third inch head. Taste is caramel and cereal grain. Medium bodied and carbonation, sweet. Great for style. Could have several on a hot day. Excellent lawn mower beer.

Bottle from Toom Getrankmarkt-Landstuhl. Pedestrian pale lager, nothing else to say. I’d give it the nod over an American macrobrew though...used to buy it by the case.

Solid gold with lotsa bubbles and a white head with average retention. Looks like beer. Smells like it, too – or maybe it smells more like a brewery. Sweet and fresh (and slightly sour) pale and caramel malt with the slightest of nods in the direction of Noble hops. Tastes mostly of wort, which is to say very pleasantly malty but also much too sweet, without enough hop bitterness or sharp carbonation for balance. Not great drinkin', but you could do a lot worse, and I'd imagine this is a perfect lager for cooking because of nearly total lack of bitterness. Pass the brats.
