Appearance: Dark amber with a low white head that left a lot of lacing.
Smell: Decent amount of piney hops.
Taste: Pretty aggressive bitterness up front, into an underpowered malt backbone. Leaves a more ashy bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Crisp and thin.
Overall: Decent IPA. One dimensional, featuring piney hops and that’s about it. Certainly more hoppy than I was expecting from a restaurant/brewery. I like their stout here a bit more.
