One of the house beers at JT Schmid's, on to the beer:
Amber color with a tint of orange, it seemed to have a bit of a "watery" look to it. No head. The aroma is faint, but there is some good stuff here. It has a bit of a fruity aroma, a kiss of hops, and some pleasing note of Hawaiian Punch. Malty on the first sip, the maltiness slowly mellows out the more the pint is consumed. A tickle of fresh cut pine balanced out the fruity flavors. Hints toasted buscuit on occasion. More fruit punch taste? The mild hop finish is pleasing.
A solid all-around amber ale. This should be a pleasant compliment to most of the restaurant's entrees.
