Darker than a lager, with a slightly orangish color. Thick white head. The malt and Belgian yeast come through clearly in the smell. The taste is pretty palatable for a Belgian style beer, although neither Belgians nor low-ABVs are my normal fare.

This is not a beer I would buy all the time. This beer would go well with grilled chicken and mild food dishes. Would be a good transition beer. Have a great day my friends.

Pours a clear golden, with amber highlights. The head is thin and off-white in color. Aromas of caramel candy, and a hint of peppery yeast. Taste is initially some caramel sweetness, then some grassiness, followed by apricot, and a hint of spicy yeast in the finish. Mouthfeel is super rich considering the ABV. Overall an excellent session beer.

Possibly the most quaffable beer my lips have ever laid eyes upon.

I am a fan of Coop Ale Works' offerings of Oklahoma low-point beers for sale in grocery stores. It is nice of course to be able to buy a good beer to take home between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m., but more importantly it is nice to have a sessionable choice for when you want to enjoy some beer but not get too tipsy.
The question of course is taste... can Coop do it?
The answer so far (this being the second of their low-point beers I've tried) is YES!
Pours a hazy, almost orange liquid. Excellent spice and citrus laden aroma.
Excellent flavor. Spices and citrus are very present but also some grain. I'm tasting a bit of bananas (I'm assuming they must use some wheat). Very nice mouthfeel - smooth yet full. Fairly sweet but not cloying.
I'm amazed that this beer is so low in alcohol - 3.7% ABV or 2.96 ABW.z
Outstanding! This is my new favorite session beer. I highly recommend it.

Poured into a pint glass. Good carbonation and hazy, yellow color with a fingernail, white head that lingers and doesn't leave lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, funky yeast, and peppery hops. The yeast and malt hits immediately with the hops coming in the back end. Medium-light body and high carbonation with no aftertastes.
It hits several of the points required for a belgium style, but is low on hops for a pale ale. It's drinkable and pretty easy to crush a can. More of a summer beer but not particularly high brow. Decent 3.2 option in OK.

Pours to a frothy white head that falls to a thin ring. Hazy gold color. Aroma is bubblegum and hint of black pepper and sweet malts. Flavor is more of the same with a sweet round finish. Mouthfeel is unbelievably thick and lush for the ABV. Overall a damn fine belgian blonde that defies its low-point status. .
