At the source, and man is this place hopping on a Saturday afternoon.
Pours a hazy burnt umber. Of note, I would never use the words burnt umber, but this is as described by one of the women in our party (I'm always asking people what color my beer is b/c I'm weird like that), and I find that description hard to argue with.
Big peach notes to the nose followed by grapefruit and yeast.
Tastes of taffy, grapefruit, orange and obviously peach.
Medium and damn smooth for a DIPA.
An excellent take on the original.
