On tap at Racer's Cafe in Maryland. Its slightly hazy, deep amber/copper body is topped by a creamy ivory head that holds well before dropping to a wide collar and lacy surface covering. Some spotty lace adorns the glass, but nothing more. Brightly piney and citrusy hops (Centennial... no, American Northern Brewer?? - some combination) greet you in the nose! There's some sweet malt beneath, but the hops dominate! It's refreshing and welcoming. The body is dextrinous and medium-bordering-on-full with a fine carbonation that's gently zesty and then somewhat creamy in the mouth. Luscious hops wrestle with a caramel soaked malt in the flavor, backed by a solid bitterness; and the alcohol is surprisingly well-hidden! It finishes dry with a subtle touch of malt and a light slap of wet hop. Impressive to say the least.
