Third of a litre at Celle Bierfest.
Very dark ruby, almost opaque, medium sized head, good amount of lacing.
S: Jam, berries, raisins, gave way to notes of smoke.
T: Lots of chocolate and espresso, hints of jam and berries, slightly Smokey aftertaste.
M: Smooth creamy texture, slightly thick body.
O: An authentic and interesting take on a London style porter, proved that a beer doesn’t have to be 8% or above to be interesting.
