Copenhagen 16/9 2017. 75 cl bottle from Kvickly, Østergade, Middelfart. Guy with a smiley head pointing a gun against the head.
Pours opaque dark brown with big beige head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick dense layer of foam. Beige lacing on the glass.
Aroma is rich and quite heavy. Caramel, sharp and bitter coffee, dark chocolate and some alcohol.
Low carbonation and thick, viscous palate.
Flavor is strong and heavy sweet. Followed by medium bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with hints of bitter coffee, licorice and chocolate.
More Black Luck than Bad Luck.

On tap at Fermentoren, pre-CBC. Pitch black with an espresso head. Roasty, malts, licorice. Medium to full bodied with a bitter and roasty aftertaste.

On tap. Dark brown color with brown head. Aroma has cognac, sweet chocolate and dark cherries. Taste is more hoppy with lots of roasted malts and a bitter finish. Full bodied with light carbonation. A surprisingly good imperial stout.
