Copenhagen 25/8 2018. 33 cl bottle from Best of Beer Webshop. Funny variation of the old Tuborg label with the sweaty corpulent man. This time his head has been replaced by a pink Elephants head.
Pours opaque dark brown with big light beige head. Settles as dense, 2 cm thick blanket of foam clinging to the side of the glass. Massive lacing.
Aroma is intense, sweet and boozy. Dark chocolate, tobacco, brown sugar molasses, paint thinner, espresso coffee. Boozy rum.
Light carbonation. Thick, soft, creamy, texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness soon overpowered by a stronger coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a solid alcoholic burn. Lingering.
Solid, formidable porter which stays with you for a while. In a good way.
