Copenhagen 31/8 2022. 33 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collective web/shop. Drawing of insect-like Archduke of Hell with a beer and a red top hat on the label.
Pours unclear murky golden yellow with a small white head. Disappears almost immediately leaving a thin patch of foam behind. No lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with sharp alcohol. Sweet pale malts, bread and grains. Metallic and boozy scent lurking. Hints of marzipan.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by medium strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a light bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Boozy and sweet Tripel with a harsh streak.
