I really enjoyed drinking this in the late summer/early fall (drank many times around the same time of year). But it's a beer to be quaffed any time of year. A nice toasty malt forward front end, balanced by some malts and grassy hops in the backend. It's so smooth and silky. Deep copper color with some sticky tan lace on the glass. I like it!

Great with a garlic burger at the Bohemian brewery restaurant.
Very drinkable.
For some reason, tho, the cans I purchased a few weeks later at the liquor store and consumed in the mountains on a campout were not quite as pleasing. Unsure why.

Pours a deep reddish brown with a nice tan head that laces the glass smells and tastes of sweet malts and a slight bit of wood maybe a slight plum taste also although maybe my taste buds are deceiving me. Medium mouthfeel. I love bohemians can designs, simple clean sleek look. A nice easy beer. Cheers

12 oz. Can
Poured into a Dogfish Head glass a very nice dark amber color, very nice carbonation with a two-finger foamy off-white head, which leaves some very nice thick sticky lacing. The nose is malty, with some roastyness and caramel hints. The taste is very nice malty, slightly roasty. Medium body, with a slightly dry/bitter finish. Overall a pretty tasty brew, would buy again.
