Pours a crystal clear copper color with a sudsy white head that provides splotchy lacing. What a gorgeous Oktoberfest this is.
Really nice caramel and toffee notes on the nose, as well as a bit of spicy hop aromas, which is precisely where the taste lands. Absolutely delicious.
The mouthfeel is very crisp. I would drink all the the time if I had access to it.

light orange and clear, well refined, and flavorful take on the style, very much true to style, which is not to say uninteresting, but that its classically done, no surprise this is good, this is what these guys do best. i love the lager yeast in here, its at least as forward as the malt in terms of driving flavor, its bready and old worldy, and it dries this out nicely, great lagering technique here. there is a crispness to this that not all of these have and its really nice for drinkability. combine that with this only being 4% abv, and you really have a perfect session version. the malt is not light on flavor though, just on body. its nutty with hints of almond and chestnut, bready with a toasted floury vibe, and has a flash of a honey sweetness in the middle. its light bodied, some minerals propping it up, good water chemistry here, and just enough hops for the finish to be snappy and balanced. this is quite well proportioned and professionally brewed, and i could have made an afternoon of them. these guys pretty much always deliver on the german lagers, and this is one of their best ive had. perfect early fall brew!

This is another great beer from Bohemian Brewery in Salt Lake City. A perfect re-creation of the Marzen beers. The color is right on, and the flavor is the right balance of malt and hops. Would be nice with a slight increase in ABV. Now that the law has changed in Utah for ABV let's hope they will tweak it up a bit. If you like Lagers and Pilsners and you ever visit Salt Lake City, be sure to go to the brewery for a great meal and even better beers. No, I don't work there, I just lover their beers and their way. If you've spent a lot of time in Germany as I have you appreciate what they are doing there.

Saw this last winter, made a point to try it when it comes out the next year and here we are.
Color is dark orange, maybe a little brown, nearly no head, but I do like the color
Smell is mildly grainy, and sweet
Taste is bready with mild elements of smoke and caramel
Overall really good, I think these breadier European type malts go stale really quick so the quicker you can try something in this style the better
