12 ounce can at the brewery in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Pours thick and flat. No foam, no lace.
Nose is Cow Tail sweet. One note, no depth.
Taste offers the big maltiness of traditional Euro lagers. Notes of caramel are in tow. At 9% ABV, there’s nice heat.
Mouth is full and sticky. Low carbonation.
Overall, the skeleton of classic double bock is present, but the richness and depth of the classics is missing.
